The most athletic and physically demanding form of yoga. The foundation of this ancient system, discovered by the late Sri T. Krishnamacharya and his disciple Pattabhi Jois in the 1930’s, involves a series of set postures practiced in sequence (vinyasa), there are six sequences in all, the first is known as the Primary Series, which is the one we teach at the Chi Yoga Centre.
Absolute beginners 7.30pm Thursday, 10.am Friday, 7.15 Monday for an introduction to yoga.
Intermediate; you need a basic understanding of Ashtanga to attend these classes.

Seasonal Flow Yoga /Yoga for Energy
This Yoga is based on seasonal Living rooted in the tradition of Chinese medicine. (T.C M) for short. Class will change throughout the year, concentrating on the relevant body parts for each season, along with advice on diet and general well being in the form of regular handouts throughout each seasonal session. The Yoga is based on traditional poses linked by seasonal vinyassas or flows. The whole experience should leave you feeling well balanced.
All Other Yoga Classes. including Hatha/Lunchtime and community classes
General yoga classes . The style of the class will be dictated by the teacher.
There is a huge diversity in styles within the yoga tradition. We have experienced teachers who Open their classes to all levels of practitioners, from complete beginners to the more experienced.
